AWESOME! For short hair You don't get any better for the price than this. This is perfect for short hair dogs. I also use a deshedder but this is ideal for daily brushing.
Love this item!!! This item came as described and sooner than expected. I've used these in the past and love them! If you want to get the hair out of your dogthan this is the right tool! I guarantee you'll love it.
Not up to expectations I must first say I own several KONG products and love them all. This brush however is not up to my expectations from KONG. I have a German Shorthair Pointer and as the name implies he has very fine short hair. This brush does not pick up his hair as much as it just spreads it all around. For a longer coated dog this would be great we use to have German Shepherds and Border Collies. But on short hair breads I can't get this to work dry. However as a shampoo brush this does a little better on short hair. This does help get out more hair when used as a bath brush and for that it gets three stars. Again if you have a longer haired dog this would probably be great for you but it does not live up to the product description for short haired dogs.
Best brush for shorthair I have a short hair Jack Russell. I've tried bristled brushes and they do not work on short hair. I bought this ZoomGroom and was highly impressed. My dog loose hair just falls off of her with each stroke. I can't say how it works for long hair but for short hair it works wonderful.
amazing I used this on my Boxer. He has a thin coat but the ZoomGroom pulled away SO much loose hair. I had no idea he HAD that much loose hair!! He hates normal grooming brushes but actually enjoys this one because it's soft.
Great but too big for a lil pup! This brush is cool and easy to manage. When you put the shampoo in the brush it comes out quickly on to the dogs body. I have an 8 week pup so it doesn't work well since its too big.
Groomers Approve. I was a dog groomer for several years. This was one of the tools I used the most for doublecoated shorthaired dogs. Labs GSDs mutts with short hairthese things are awesome. I prefer these to something like the Furminator because most dogs tolerate it better and you can use it for a longer period of time in one sitting. I also think it works on more coat types than the Furminator. It also makes a good bath tool.My suggestion for getting the most out of this thing wash your dog. Rinse it really well. When the coat is TOTALLY DRY and clean *that* is when you get as much dead loose hair out as possible. It just doesn't work as well if the dog is damp or dirty at all. If you have a highvelocity dryer so much the better for you! But still the Zoom Groom is really awesome at pulling out dead loose hair.It will seem like your dog sheds more after a bath and good brushoutbecause it DOES shed more. You loosen and stimulate the coat so a lot more falls out for a few days. After that though it should really reduce shedding until the next wave of hair loosens up.

so simple yet so amazing! I can't believe how amazing this thing is. I have a Aussie mix about 40lbs. Medium size short hair dog. I think I got more hair off of her with this thing than she has! Its unreal. My only suggestion is to use it outside because it gets messy. However when I tell you thing works and your dog will shed about 70% less after two or three good brushes I'm serious. The cool thing about this too is that my dog loves it! She will let me put her in any position and even rolls over for me to rub her belly! Its like a massage with a bonus! She hated the other tools out there so thank you to whoever invented this gem.
ONLY brush my dog likes I bought this recently for my dog because I was concerned that his skin was too dry in the winter and helping to stimulate his skin oils could help with that. I have bought like 5 or 6 brushes for him in the past and he either runs away or tries to eat them. He LOVES this brush though.he not only stands still and accepts the brushing but even seems to enjoy it. I also bought him some emu oil spray and it works perfectly for helping to rub it in to his coat and skin.
